ABOUT ME

I am Nicolas, a French national residing in Ireland, with a strong background in Internet security and a passion for the digital world.

My academic journey began with a BA in History, specialising in Archives Administrative Management and the Preservation of Historical Heritage from the University of Toulouse 2 Jean Jaurès in 2005.

To broaden my horizons, I spent an academic year in Boston (2005-2006), where I focused on English language proficiency and cursus specialised on Business, Media/Communication, and Geopolitics.

My professional path led me to Ireland, where I have spent the past 17 years honing my skills in the Internet sector. My experience spans multiple industries, including:

  • Aer Lingus: Airline Reservation Agent.

  • Squarespace: Contributed to the growth of the Irish office from 10 to over 200 employees as a Global Technical Support specialist and Global Team Coordinator.

  • eBay: Moderator, Fraud Investigator, and Intellectual Property SME in the Trust and Safety department.

  • LinkedIn: Global Customer Success Manager.

  • Airbnb: Crisis Manager looking after Personal Safety and Property Security incidents and Team Coordinator in the Trust and Safety department.

  • TikTok: Incident/Crisis Manager and Regional Program Manager (France/Belgium) in the Trust and Safety department.

Throughout these roles, I developed expertise in Trust and Safety, focusing on offline risk mapping, fraud investigations, dark web knowledge, advanced investigative techniques, and crisis management.

My passion for cybersecurity led me to earn a Technical Diploma in Cyber and Digital Security with Distinction from jury issued by the Institute of Business And Technology (IBAT college) in 2016.

More recently, in July 2024, I obtained the Certified in Cybersecurity credential from ISC2 and equally completed in parallel a Professional Certificate solidifying my competences in the Cybersecurity domain issued by both ISC2 and IBM.

Finally, I have completed several certifications in Artificial Intelligence (LLM’s use, conception of assistants on Watson, GPT and Gemini with Governance) and Cybersecurity from IBM, Google, Intel, the Lund University in Sweden and the Vanderbilt University in Tennessee via Coursera.

I am now actively seeking new opportunities in Internet security and related fields to further advance my career and contribute to the ever-evolving digital landscape.
